Default Build started.. not sure where it will end

The video below is a quick rundown of all the parts I’ve gathered so far only thing that’s not included so far is the GT4 wing which is still in transit.

i’m not sure how deep I’m going to get with this Porsche this time as I just don’t have the energy I did a few years ago so as it stands right now it’s just going to be a basic body kit with an exhaust and some decent engine mods still haven’t decided if I’m going to go turbo or not.

let me know what you guys think on the direction im going.

so last night snugged up the bumper and drilled some mounting holes. Screwed it into place for fitment and started working on it. I took tons of picks to show the areas i need to fix. I was quite impressed with how it lined up vs the duraflex type fenders i've installed on my cars in the past.

these two pics are after i lined it up. thats the new look.. i like it

Its lifting right of center so i used a ball burr to grind away the underside so i could weaken it and flex it down and then i can put new poly and glass under it and reform it to blend better.

the side marker openings needed to be grounded out quite a bit to get the bumper to go under those clips. where my finger is pointing needs to be ground (squared corners) so the light will sink down and in front of the clip needs the slot put in for the clip on the marker to slide into as well... hope this i making sinse.

the gap around the front lights.. not to bad.

I shined a light here to cast a shadow to show how i'm going to have to do a little sanding to blend in the edges... notice the pump out.

The following pics are just of the reveals in general of the body lines.. not to bad. so far this appears to be an easy install. hoping the rear bumper is this easy.

front suspension was put on hold as the company sent me the wrong front control arms. they just came in so went at it some more. but now i'm waiting for some spring compressors so i can put the front shocks back together after the new pushings, keepers and bump/buffer stops.

Also was able to start putting the wing together last night. i felt like i was holding a new baby, so worried about bumping it lol the wing is .. oh so nice lol

I can't see the video. what's the direction you're heading? GT4 clone? I assume you're starting with a 987.1?

Installed the short shifter. I put a screw in it one of the cables, I didn’t like how it had a little wiggle.

taking the console out it looks like someone was here before me and didn’t enjoy getting it out lol

lastly I drilled the holes for the wing.

Finally dropped that transmission and started putting on the intake stuff.

Suggestion for anyone doing trans work.. get a trans jack. that thing made it easy.

just a big photo dump.
