Update: there is no update. But I may pass on this because a 2014 f type that’s spec’d pretty good just became available. Any thoughts on an f type vs a 987.2 Boxster? I’ve seen most comparisons of the f type to the 981 or 718.

Default Picture found

Update: So I’ve decided I’m going to Stick it out and wait for this one as it’s pretty unique. It’s still undergoing reconditioning and have not had any updates from Carvana in about 3 weeks.

however i Was able to find an actual picture of the car from when it was being sold at the original dealership. Entered the vin, and it shows the dealer website in the bottom of the image, which checks out with the carfax report. See pic below. This is a pretty unique looking 987.2 with the sport design aero package.

Huh. I’ve never seen that bumper before. Has to be extremely rare.

Cool looking bumper. I wonder if that is available as a replacement part in the US.
Anybody know about that, can I change my 2011 bumper to this sport design?

you can, it’s called the sport design aero bumper on sun coast… it’s just really expensive.

987.2 is 6 cylinder, 718 is 4 cylinder - right? Go with the six. As for the Jaguar - run away! Just my opinion having owned both.

Another update: logged into Carvana today and under the pre-order screen, it now says Car Unavailable. See below. Anyone encounter this before?

Could it be because you have it reserved? I went through this with them for 2 months waiting.

I do have it reserved, but it’s not like I was looking at the car while not logged in. The car doesn’t populate anymore if you search for it. I’m wondering if I’ve just been waiting all this time and they won’t be able to sell the car anymore.

I'm pretty sure that happened with mine as well. I bet tomorrow it will be back on there as purchase pending.

Last update on this: I went with a 981 Boxster base. 40k miles, 1 owner, very clean.

One last update: so Carvana finally made it available today. Here’s the link, if anyone wants to grab it haha. It’s a beautiful car.
