Hi: This would be my first Porsche. No accident history. Paint is an 8/10, interior 9/10. New plugs, brake service and tires. Still on the original clutch/fly. Is this a no brainer?

Agree with others that PPI with overrev report and diagnosis of any CEL codes is wise if you can. Even with PPI, for a 10 yr old car, good idea to have a cash reserve for unexpected needs. I'm thinking of things like headliner drooping, water pump, clutch (should be ok for awhile but you don't know how it's been driven). Suspension components, engine/trans mounts and Cats should be ok for awhile too but wouldn't be shocked if you needed some of these in the next 1-2 years. Best of luck.

Sounds almost too good to be true - especially in today's market. Not absurdly low, but definitely on the lower end. If it checks out - it should be a good deal!
If you decide to walk - pass the information my way!

Agreed that is a good price, especially for the .2 gen cars, which this one is. Make sure that your PPI includes cylinder scoping as well, you want to be sure that the bottom end of the motor is healthy ![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)

I recently replaced the serpentine on my ‘12 Base Cayman. Bought a Gates belt that was marginally thicker. Because of some pulley clearance issues, unless you need to clear some cuss words out of your brain box, I’d go with the thinner Porsche part and maintain a bit of sanity.
