Indeed. I've had two cars that were hit hard and repaired correctly. The other was sold about 10 years after the accident. Although the accident was not on CarFax, I disclosed it. In the 10 years after the accident it performed flawlessly and showed no signs that it had been previously damaged. The same shop did the work to the CS for obvious reasons and it performs flawlessly. Would I rather buy a used car that did not have an accident history? Yes, all things being equal. Would I shy away from a correctly repaired car with accident history? No.
