Good deal on this ???
Private owner, clean title , California car
2014 Cayman S 61,334 miles 6 speed manual, pretty nicely optioned , leather pkg, sports steering wheel, sports exhaust, bi-xenon, etc
asking $39,500
Lowered on HnR sports
Not too excited about the mileage, but the specs and price is right.... unfortunately seller said I'm third in line right now and he just posted it two days ago...if everything checks out on the PPI I'll probably snag this one hopefully

No, not a good deal, but might be a great car.
I am finding manuals show up at Non Porsche dealer lots - as if the P dealers don't want to resell them.
German car values are based on miles. If a normal manual, with 25k miles sells for about $40ish. This one with 61k on the odometer, I would want a discount to $33 - $35k at the most.
I know its frustrating trying to find a good 981 S as the secret is out. They are nearly bulletproof as track cars, and for the money it is a very special car.

And unfortunately 6 speed Cayman S are hard to find especially with the wheels I like with black leather interior with sports steering wheel...sports exhaust are almost impossible to find and the next lowest priced Cayman S is about $49,990 with PDK with about 30k miles.
Would love to get it down to that $33-$35k price, but that is what the lowest priced base models are going for right now on every site....maybe hoping to get him down to $37k though

My buddy bought a 14 Cayman S with 13k miles, manual chrono, exhaust, pasm, etc. for a bit under 50. The car was/is immaculate. For another 50k miles I would want 15-20k off. But that puts you below 987.1 territory. 2006-8 with just under 40k mi is a 25k car. Go up 15k to a 2014 with 60k. Food for thought.

I believe that to be a good deal. Mileage on that car isn't an issue and it's a lot of car for 40K.
Reasonably priced manuals go quick so you have to be ready to buy if you find one. There may be 3 buyers... but none have showed up with cash or ready to buy so don't listen o that column fodder. If you want it then tell him you'll show up today and make it an easy transaction for him.

Seems like a decent deal. As others have said, this is a great car for the money! Where else can you get a mid-engined car, this capable for that money?

981s with no suspension option (PASM or X73) ride very high. There's no suspension option listed. This car looks lower than with X73 (the lowest Porsche suspension option). This car is most likely sitting on aftermarket shocks and/or springs, and may ride like ****. Beware of that.
