987.2 Car won't lock and can't get fuel door open
My Cayman has recently developed some new "features." When trying to lock the car with they key fob, it beeps twice and the car never locks. In addition, I can't seem to get my fuel door open. My service advisor says that he believes these are two unrelated incidents. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Always check the health of the battery for any electrical faults.

Agree with others, an old battery will make the electrical system do very odd things. Change it out let the car cycle through a couple of drives to see if you still have any issues.
