Bypassed the annoying brake pad wear sensors.

What's the reason for doing this? Have they been throwing false positives?

I've never had a false warning thrown, but it has been a concern at track days.

The main reason is that they're a useless waste of money in my opinion. You can't reuse sensors once they've thrown a light.
$30 a piece new, or $10 for aftermarket. Probably the cheapest Porsche part you can buy, but I already examine my brake pads before and after every event. I don't need a light to inform me of something that should be checked on a routine walkaround.

Swapped out for the Hawk HP+. I've always preferred Hawk over EBC and StopTech on my C30. The HP+ pads have been great with a decent amount of bite even when cold.
They are quite a bit noisier, but I don't care about brake squeal; good brakes make noise.

Here's an old video with the previous muffler delete. Sounded great on the top end, but that was about it.

And another bouncy passenger video from the archives.

Put together another rear stabilizer bar for my dad's 987. This time, I got a video on the parts and process.

No, it's something I built.
Just a bent 1x1 piece of aluminum to match the curvature of the bumper.

After procrastinating on this project for years, I'm finally finishing the roll bar.

Harness bar welded on, which will only require minimal panel/carpet trimming to make fit.
Welded all of the factory padding mount-holes closed and ground them as smooth as I could get. A bit challenging since most of those holes were a bit recessed.
Now to decide if I paint it or wrap it in a white leather...

A lot of trial and error, but I finally got these humps wrapped with a white pleather.
It's not perfect, but for being hand stitched over non-cylindrical tubing, I'm pleased with the results.

I'm about 15 hours in and only half way done. At least this project can be done from the comfort of my living room.
It's no wonder leather wrapped roll bars cost so much.

Progress continues. I've gotten into a rhythm and it is going a bit faster. It also helps that I'm now dealing with mostly straight sections.
