Just wanted to say hello I just bought a 2007 base Cayman always liked the look and feel of these cars and this one had a price tag I could not resist and it’s yellow which always grabs my eye. Will be learning car as I go so look forward to gaining good info here.

Welcome! Looks like you have a long history with Porsche. 987's have some weak spots, but overall a great car and definitely the best value in a sports car at this point IMO. I couldn't resist either and pulled the trigger about a year ago. Plan for your Cayman?

Are you saying that because of the time he posted the thread?

(note my time zone).

Thanks for the welcomes, a little background I have owned Porsche’s for over 30 years and a racer or over 20 have owned almost every model over those years but this is my first Cayman my plan is to drive it as a pleasure car mostly to PCA club events. Living in Sebring I will also make it my transport to the track for events.

Haha I just noticed that... crack of dawn! Noticed he's a Lifetime Rennlist Member and long list of Porsches in his signature (think that only shows when on a full computer).

Not trying to date myself but I go back to the Porschelist days which was the name before Rennlist have a few Porsches and only find new ways and models to learn and enjoy

They’ll tell you this car is Jan Brady (all middle references/entendre purposeful) but those of us who own one know better. Congrats
