Would love to know what sort of rig the victim was carrying in; sounds like he had easy enough access even while seated. Unless he got out of the car first. I'm also thankful the media coverage (and police response) seems to be focusing on the badness of the bad guy, not the guy who protected his own life from this scumbag.

The lawyers will tell you there's a concept called "assuming the risk." When you try to carjack someone, you're assuming the risk that the person you're trying to victimize is going to cap your ***.

I watched this incident on the news last night it was the passenger in the Cayman that shot the potential car jacker in the stomach while the police were attempting to taser him at the same time. In the news clip the passenger was a woman.
Car jacking, break in , theft , and road rage shootings happen all the time here in Atlanta !

LOL, this got moved to the Cayman forum from 991???
Is there an automated moderator that saw the term "Cayman" in the title and moved it? Cuz surely no actual human would think this was a Cayman story.
