This allows the front decal to be aligned better to the bottom of the front air intake. Used a laser lever to get them aligned perfectly.

Noticed most people are mounting them up higher like this:
I will install the same stripes on my car tomorrow. I will do the same low placement but am still debating whether to install the front decal or leave it out.

Can't see how it would look complete without the front section.

That looks incomplete to me. Not bad. Just incomplete.

That reminds me I have to get those rocker graphics put on mine! I love the way they look.

I'm 50/50 on the front bit of stripe. I can take it or leave it. Looks good to me either way. I don't feel a sense of "incompleteness," as some do, on those cars that have decided to omit it. And my hunch is if the stripe kit didn't come with the front piece and all we ever saw was just the stripe aft of the front wheel, none of us would think twice about it.

Hats off to all who have applied this stripe on their own. I would never attempt it! Even applying graphics to model cars I built as a kid turned out disastrous.

Trust me, it's not as bad as you may think. I'll bet model cars' graphics are much harder because they are so tiny. Soapy water spray and painter's tape are your friends.

Here's another option I saw this morning, which I hadn't seen before. Stripe on door panel only. No small bit between door and front wheel well.

^^ Now THAT looks incomplete!

Joking aside, I wonder if the owner of the GT4 bought 2 sets of the decals in different colors from Porsche and combined them to make them two-tone or had a local decal place custom made them.
