Parking at events...
1) For The Quail you will park on the golf course next to the event. Pretty safe.
2) For Werks Reunion. Unless you are showing or paid for Corral parking, I suggest you arrive early. The parking on the adjacent church site will fill quickly at $10@. That is your best bet. But it's very limited parking. Then it gets pretty hairy as people park along Carmel Valley Road and walk in.
3) Gordon McCall's - Pretty nice parking next to the event at Jet Center on parking lot.
Don't know:
4) Concorso & Legends of Autobahn - New venues this year. Expect both to be pretty safe since at large golf courses.
Street Parking:
5) Carmel Mission Classic, Carmel 'Concours-on-the-Avenue' and 'Pebble Rally' Lunch Stop. Public street parking around the mission. Same for the two events in Carmel. Carmel PD issues tickets for parking violations (you need to monitor the time), so caveat lector.
Auction Parking:
Mecum will put you at Del Monte Golf course near their event tent. Not bad...but expect some dust on your car.
Goodings: Some parking around the polo fields. Best on Saturday. Pretty bad on Sunday because of the Concours.
Bonhams: Not bad because now their auction tent is located a ways from The Quail event. So parking is available around that site and should be relatively safe. Can park at The Quail site and walk to Bonhams tent later!
RM: Try to find parking lot in downtown Monterey, which is available nearby.
Cole & Steele: Don't know. But pay for space in parking lot if possible!
Complicated Parking:
Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: You need to get parking pass and it's often at far distances from event. Buses will get you back & forth from those designated parking lots. But a pain in the rear...and dusty too. I park in Carmel on Sunday and take the bus from Carmel Plaza for the $20 fee!
Laguna Seca Parking:
Unless you have prepaid for a Corral and have pass, they'll put you in a dusty field a good distance away from the track. If you are concerned about your car, pay for VIP or other type of Corral Pass inside the grounds of Laguna!

Tickets for the events...
Carmel Concours on the Avenue - Tuesday
Carmel Lunch Stop on the Avenue for Pebble Rally - Thursday
Werks Reunion - Friday
Legends of Autobahn - Friday
Reasonably Priced Events:
Automobilia - Tuesday & Wednesday $20 for two days. Tickets at door.
Carmel Mission Classic - Wednesday $30@. Includes wine tasting! Reasonably price food sold at event. Tickets at door.
Baja Cantina Panamericana Reunion Dinner - Saturday evening. $30 in advance, $35 at event! Great deal which include food!
Laguna Seca - Race on Saturday. $80 in advance, $100 at gate.
Concorso Italiano - Saturday - $155. Doesn't include any food or drink.
Not-So-Reasonably Priced Events:
Concours d'Elegance - Sunday - $275 in advance, $300 at gate. Does not include food or drink.
Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival - Wednesday night - $325 in advance. Includes food & drinks!
The Quail - Friday - $550. The week's most exclusive event. Sold out. Too much food & way too much to drink!
I find the RM Auction now to be unreasonably priced for spectators. Mecum was free last year. Rick Cole was a nice event years ago...where the RM auction is now held. Steele is very informal. I make a point of going each year to the Gooding & Co auction...and Bonhams if I attend The Quail!

Eduardo -
You forgot Compagno's Market & Deli - best sandwiches in Monterey! Pop in, say hi to Bennett, and tell them you're Chris' friend. He'll take good care of you...
Great write-up señor. Lots of good recommendations. I miss living in Monterey. Especially on Uncle Sam's nickel.

By the way Chris, I hear Uncle Sam is still looking for a few good men, the proud, etc. for 'delicate' assignments overseas (Iraq, Iran) and perhaps some domestic ('We don't need no stinking badges...or the Posse Comitatus Act'). Are you interested, hombre?

PS As an aside, that old nickel is now worth less than a cent...thanks to the printing presses at Treasury in DC!

Of course I knew you were a Marine! Otherwise, I would have not have spent ten minutes looking for that impressive Corps logo in the damn internet, looking up how to spell 'Posse Comitatus' & thinking up something funny (in my humble opinion) to say in my retort to your post!

The Porsche Zentrum is going up at Quail Lodge (photo 1 & 2). It is being built on Quail's tennis courts which was the original site of the Bonhams auction in past years. The Zentrum is also across the street from where The Quail Gathering will take place on Friday, which is adjacent to the Quail golf clubhouse and Edgar's Restaurant!
Bonhams has now moved to San Carlos Road at the corner of Valley Green Drive, a good half mile away, as you enter Quail (last photo). It is on the same grass field that the Porsche Zentrum was set up for the world intro of the Panamera years ago and where we held the 'Porsche Race Car Classic' back in 2011!

I had low mileage (35K or so) 'Signal Red' 356C cabriolet with original paint/interior for 15 years which I never showed once! It was museum quality. Yet I never took it to a show or concours. But when I got my 'Crystal Blue' 1970 911E Targa after chasing it for 28 years, I decided that it should be seen for old-times-sake! After all, this early long hood 911/912 era is exactly when I discovered my love for the marque! It is part of my own personal history. So I have shown the 'Crystal Blue' Targa three times...and always at the annual PCA Parades where it's in the company of tough competitors from all across the nation! It has earned a First in Class, a First in Division and the coveted 'Honorary Judge's Choice' Trophy. And those honorary judges were none other than Dr. Wolfgang Porsche, Hans Peter Porsche and Ferdinand Porsche (Wolfgang's son)! So it doesn't get any better for an old 'Porsche' but to be selected as something special by three other Porsches! As a result of this last honor, the 'Crystal Blue' Targa has now been retired from competition and sits majestically in my garage...ready for stud duties as required! In the future, maybe it will be taken out to a show at The Quail or Werks Reunion during a Historics...but not this year!
jvmax - Enjoy your week at the Historics. They are magical!

Very nice Eduardo, thanks for taking the time to be so informative.
I missed out on coral tickets for the Werks, if anyone has some and a change of plans I'd be happy to buy them.
Also there is a Cars & Coffee meet Saturday 8am 1410 Del monte shopping center, I'll be the before Concorso.
