Default Saphire Blue color on Boxster--need pics

Does anyone have a Boxster or photos with Saphire Blue?
I was thinking of ordering it but need to see the car in person or some good photos.

Thanks for the help

I was told last week when I ordered that no Boxsters would be painted sapphire blue until September. Eduardo posted a pic of a sapphire blue car in my thread about 10 spots down:

I have not seen a photo of a 981 in that color yet since that 'Sapphire Blue Metallic' color has just been introduced! The only photos I have seen of that color is a factory 'test demo' 991 gt3 taken a few weeks ago. I posted those photos at this thread!

Default Confirmed

I was finally able to see the colour chip for Sapphire Blue compared to Aqua Blue and yes, it is that light. This forced me to pay the $6200 to do a paint to sample for Aqua as it is no longer selectable except for the Cayman S from what I can tell.

1) PTS has been $5,500 for several years now. The PCNA configurator still says $5,500. Were you informed by someone at 'Porsche Exclusive' that PTS pricing is going up to $6200?

2) 'Aqua' is a nice color. I ordered it on my '12 Spyder. But if you have to pay a PTS premium of $5,500 or higher, I would change my exterior color to an approved PTS color for the 991/981. That will get you real value for the money spent and make your order very 'special' and 'unusual'. I suggest 'Riviera Blue' or 'Mexico Blue'. But if these are too light for you, look up other colors in the latest PCNA PTS approved list and choose something to your liking! No one that sees your PTS 'Aqua' Porsche will think you paid more than $710 for it. Get your money's worth with true PTS. Be more daring! Carpe Diem. My dos centavos, for what is worth.

Saludos,
Eduardo

Default PTS Aqua blue

Eduardo,
$6200 PTS is the Canadian price...
I went for Dark Blue metallic in the end, which I love

That dark blue is a great color. I was very tempted (dark blue/blue/Espresso), but the girls liked Mahogany better.
I don't think it's that commonly selected. Good choice!
