Default Escort 9500ci or K40 installs in 981 pics?

Has anyone installed a K40 or escort 9500ci in their 981? I'm leaning toward the Escort and would appreciate some pics of where folks have installed the controller and display.
There's a great thread with pics of an Escort 9500ci in a 991 install on the 991 area, but those guys are in CA. A little too far for me.
I'm also looking for an approved installer who has experience installing one in a 981, since there is no way I'll be doing it myself. I am willing to travel to Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Toledo or Cincinnati as a (long) day trip, since it seems the install takes several hours.
Thanks.

Keith: I would recommend the Escort 9500ci out of those two. Had it on my '07 997S and was pleased (see first two photos). The retail price from Escort 9500ci is $1600. I got a $320 discount from my local stereo/alarm shop in Seaside, CA. He charged a set fee of $400 Labor to install. That is about 4 hours at his rate. But it took him longer to do the installation and the fee was 'flat' and set. So that was good. I recommend you shop around in Ohio for a similar or better deal! A company is offering custom mirror displays for a Escort 9500ci and it looks pretty darn nice. But it's an additional expense which you might find hard to justify.

An alternative is the to install just the laser jammer (http://www.laser-interceptorusa.com/673.html) and the Valentine One. In California, I heard that they ALL laser jammers are no longer legal, after a recent change in the law! The loophole was supposed to be that you could claim that the jammer is really just a parking aid accessory on your car (see last photo). But I think Law Enforcement is coming down hard on jammers in certain states and it is getting harder avoid the scrutiny. California needs revenues and it's doing all it can to outfit both CHP and local police with the latest laser guns! Perhaps this trend will effect other states soon...like Ohio!

Right now my Valentines (I own two) are giving me warning of Laser units aimed at cars in front of me, allowing me to slow down by the time the officer targets my vehicle! If, on the other hand, I am the only one around and he lasers me...my Valentine will detect it but I am already 'clocked'! What we are using here in California now is mobile apps like 'Escort Live' & 'Trapster' to inform us of police traps and laser activity, so we can avoid tickets! As more folks participate, it will become more effective!
