Very nice. I am going to have to paint my wheels the same color. Those air conditioned boy racers with perfectly styled hair that are Cayman R drivers definitely have cooler wheels. I think Spyder owners got jipped in that department.
I looked at the pictures on dspyda.com. Beautiful car, I approve your color choice. I hope you will have years of satified owership. The damages that you spoke of, don't lose sleep over it. I am equally as OCD as they come, and I enjoy the preservation/ concours side of the hobby as the next guy. But trust me, don't fuss the small stuff. I bet every Spyder on this board has some minor blemishes. You'll have it cleaned up and fixed in no time. As rare as the Spyders are, at least for now, it is still not a like a Jag E-type, '73 RS, or a Ferrari Dino. It begs to be driven, and blemishes will show.

I also just looked at the damage and if I were you I would definitely not repaint any part of the car.
You may be able to touch up and blend the external scratches on the rear bumper. I would also touch up the areas in the rear hatch.
The four adjustment bolts on the hood may simply need cleaning. It's possible the hood needed adjustment at some point and the tool used to adjust was steel which often is covered in steel shards and rusts after it comes in contact with moisture.
The Spyder wheels look even better with the metallic finish and I agree that most of us Spyder owners were short changed on this.

Gorgeous looking car !! The back drop is amazing, it looks like you have some great photography skills. If your considering the Euro Marker Light Kit, ECS offers everything you need for the transformation, which also includes a set amber-flashing chrome bulbs for a 'stealth' appearance.

Regarding the finish on the wheels...has anyone seen them side by side with stock wheels from a 993 series Turbo S? I was wondering if they are similar in color/finish.
