I've gotta say, I"m taken with the amber orange. I saw one picture of an amber orange that had the deviating carpet in black, which is what I would want. I didn't see that option on the configurator, though. Does anybody know what the cost of this option is?

Madjackdog: It was US$710 for that option on my '12 987 Spyder and it should be in that range for the 981 as well! That would be the ticket with this color leather interior!
Have decided on amber/agate interior with CF wheel & trim. Is orange
available as a deviating stitching colour?
Undecided as to exterior colour...considering Mahogany, Agate & Anthracite.
Opinions are welcome.
The two-tone orange interior comes standard with orange deviating stitching on the dash and doors (it shows in the photos). Where else would you put the deviating stitching? Steering wheel?
Thanks. Missed it in the pic. Don't want deviating stitching for steering wheel but opted for exclusive option CXM (extented interior package door panel in leather) & CZW (extended interior package dashboard trim in leather)
Have you confirmed with 'Porsche Exclusive' that the stitching on these two options will match the rest of deviating stitching in your two tone interior? Forget what the dealer tells you - double check directly with 'Porsche Exclusive' in US or Germany!
Haven't visited this thread in a while, so missed your comment. Thank you so much! It is high praise indeed coming from someone as knowledgable as yourself who has a keen eye for aesthetics ( as evidenced by your own colour choices, which I have drooled over via the Internet!). Would also like to thank you for your incredibly informative posts regarding Porsche Exclusive options - they were truly excellent.
