Door Panels warping
Hi All, I have a 2014 981, and just noticed over the weekend that the door panels have popped up on both sides, it looks like the glue has given way. It seems that this is a common issue, but I was wondering if anyone has had this fixed by Porsche under the CPO warranty? Additionally, the carpet in the "frunk" is coming away at the top, so will have to have that looked at as well. Thanks for the help.

Porsche replaced both of the door panels on my 2014 Cayman Base under the CPO warranty. One panel had lifted noticeably and the other was barely noticeable. They replaced both panels without comment when I pointed out the worst one.

Mine were replaced under CPO. Same with the headlights and windshield issue.

I had the door panel and frunk carpet fixed under regular warranty.. Of course, my frunk carpet is already peeling away again, about 18 months after replacement.. dealer said no dice on getting it fixed a second time, even though the warranty on parts is 2 years I believe.. I don't recall now the reason they said they wouldn't fix it a 2nd time..

Unfortunately it is a common issue. Mine got replaced under original warranty.

you have to pay shipping. It’s around 900$ Shipping and labor from west coast when I was looking into it. It was for a car being sold from the dealership. I ultimately back off the deal from the dealer because I didn’t want to deal with taking off the panel and shipping it.
@Tommy L Garage when I asked sun coast they quoted me at 1.5-1.7k per door. Call your local Porsche dealers and speak to parts department male. One by me offered 1.5 each.

I would still love to see pics of the Pedro fix/results. Pedro has no pics or vids of the final results on his website (that I have seen)
I've asked a couple of times for someone to post pics ..but nuthin' so far. Kinda strange.
