The GM at Porsche Grapevine in Dallas said their shop manager spoke to their regional Porsche NA rep who informed them of the exemption. Apparently, PDK cars behave differently when in Sport Plus due to software, which makes sense. Porsche is being overly cautious due to Diesel-gate and are apparently testing all affected cars to determine emission levels when in Sport Plus mode. They want to make sure they are in compliance before ending the stop sale. The stop sale was initiated by Porsche, not any government agency.
