Congrats! She's a beaut!

Whoever ordered my car spec'd the model designation delete which I always thought made the rear look a bit plain. Decided to pick up the 981 badge from Suncoast and installed it last night. Came out pretty well considering I mostly freehanded it. Also installed the obligatory LED side markers.

I blew off my responsibilities and joined 14 million Americans who ditched work the day after the Super Bowl. I wound up enjoying a nice 100 mile loop through the backroads of NJ in my CGTS.

Found some decent turns and managed to rip a fairly decent 1.18 G’s - I didn’t want to press my luck as there was plenty of loose gravel and grit on the road.

Nearly 60 degrees in February in the north east is an opportunity one shouldn’t pass on.

~ 33K fun and trouble free miles.

Fire Chief gas is the best.

Unlike the post above, I actually worked today so I'm posting a day late. LOL.

I drove the wife in her 981 Boxster S to a superbowl party and back...about 70 miles round trip. What a fun car (she got mad due to how aggressive I was driving, of course). It sounds the business with the Brombacher exhaust...PDK shifts are tight/aggressive and sound so cool. This car turned me into a PDK lover.

We need to drive this thing more. It's a 2013 with only 5300 miles on it. Bought it 6 or so months ago with 4,000 miles. Every time we take it out, it seems happy.

Drove the Spyder in the beautiful weather in Atlanta over to Porsche Perimeter where I got to test drive the new Taycan Turbo. Holy cow that thing is fast. Starts pulling and doesn't stop! Fit and finish is light years beyond Tesla. Not what I'd buy with $170k, but a really amazing car nevertheless.

‘I’m so jealous of you warm climate folks - almost 60 degrees here yesterday with bright sunshine - tomorrow AM possibly a quarter inch of ice………not good sports car conditions.

Walked out to the parking lot after work to find a new hole in my rear bumper. Hit and run. Sad day.

I’m sorry to see that. I hope there”s security cameras or perhaps one of your coworkers has a dashcam and you can catch whomever did this.
