That is correct. You can only get white needles if you get a donor kit. And the color is the darker red, not sure which one it is. But it looks beautiful.

I treated my Spyder roof with 303 fabric guard. So far looks good and makes it look a bit blacker IMO. I still have a couple areas where there is some fuzz as in my ignorance, I hit it with my wash mit on my first wash. Lesson learned.

I use the 303 brand (different product) on my RV roof with good results so I have high expectations for it on my Spyder.

Went out for a drive! Roads have been washed clean a bit with some heavy rain lately, temps were above freezing point... not enough to open the roof of my BGTS but still very fun.

My first time doing it so I can only say what I did. I masked off the car around the windshield, doors and rear deck with painters tape as you don't want this stuff to dry on your glass/paint as it is hard to get off. I still had some runs so I used a microfiber and
Windex to clean it off while it was still wet. After about 15 minutes, I pulled the masking tape off and did another round of cleaning to be sure.

Product says it takes 12 to 24 hours to cure.

I’ve been accumulating more rubber and grime thrashing her around Sebring Raceway. This 2014 CS with Hankook slicks is an absolute track beast. It doesn’t give up much to a GT4!

beautiful! And I agree on the gt4 comment. From my experience actually many gt4 owners don’t push their cars hard because of the price.

I get a little frustrated when I catch guys in GT4's and GT3's and they don't let me go by.

Took a drive up north of Dahlonega on GA60 to Woody Gap...No traffic and dry roads...

North of Porter Springs.

Where the real fun begins.

The north side of Woody Gap still has snow.

The Appalachian Trail crosses GA60 here at Preacher's Rock Trailhead.

The view SSW from Woody Gap.

Looks great Terry! I started going up 411 to Chatsworth and then 52 over Ft Mountain down into Ellijay every dry weekend when the initial 2020 pandemic lockdown started, just to get out of the house. I've made the trip at least 60 times since, but its getting to be pointless lately as the traffic on the mountain is back more than it was originally. Weekends are nothing but minivans, and paw paw's pickup trucks doing 15 mph the entire mountain drive which is so frustrating. You are pretty much stuck behind them the entire time on the roads you drove up there for to begin with.

I live only 20 minutes from these particular roads and am fortunate to be able to drive them during the week when traffic is light. It does get unpleasant on weekends what with slow and fast traffic mixed in together.

I had planned to go north of Suches, then take Doublehead Gap Road and Big Creek Road back over to Cartecay just east of Ellijay, but the snow on the north side of Woody Gap made me think twice about that. It was still a good day.

I installed the DSC controller and did a little test drive last night on a very familiar mountain road. So far, so good.
