I can't seem to find many Caymans with PASM and Sport Chrono installed. I'm trying to get one for BGB to do a conversion with but man is it hard finding one. I wanted to put it with a DSC Box and their tractive coilovers.
The only ones that seem to have them was the GTS and even then it's like only half of them do. What gives

Not many. I lucked out when I picked up my 981 CS 6-speed with PASM/SC/PSE here on Rennlist.

Then count me in with the lucky ones. My first search on Porsche CPO yielded Cayman with PASM/Sport Chrono/PSE/PTV/6SP. Since buying it 2 months ago, I've been searching for fun and haven't seen another.

The sport chrono software can easily be added later, so that option shouldn't be a deal breaker.
Many of the GTS cars were ordered with the X73 sport suspension instead of PASM. Personally, I prefer the X73.

Is this true? I believe it to be true for the 987’s but not the 981’s. I believe Porsche even answered this. Do you know where I can get the software???!

Are you looking for manual or pdk. I know of someone who has a pdk with pasm/pse/sc and also already has a dsc installed.
Also, according to suncoast, you cannot retrofit oem sc to a 981. Only a Cobb tune or similar.

Retrofitting Sport Chrono software does not give full functionality, no launch control and not even sure if you get another button for Sport+ and it's different settings. X73 too rough for me, PASM is much better and a more expensive option for the same price ... soft for daily driving, stiffer when needed.

The Cobb tune offers features similar to sport chrono? Might be a decent option if the cars out of warranty

Make sure you drive PASM vs non-PASM before deciding it is a must-have option. I've had both versions on 987s, and I consider PASM mandatory for the 987 where I live (I only ever used the comfort setting, which is softer than non-PASM but stiffens in the curves).
However, I was shocked at how nice the ride is in a 981 on 20" wheels without PASM. So I bought a 981 without PASM with 19" wheels and it feels great.
