Whom are we congratulating?

And yep, didn't take long for that to play out and for us to see who was right! Almost as fast as SY Cab #3. LOL

Love seeing the strong interest in these unique cars. Bodes well.

Wow! Is that like a new record... looks like it was for sale for all of 5 hours.

I hope to have Jeff on my team when its time to sell.

No, speed yellow cab #3 sold in about 3 hours a year or so ago.

I spoke with the mechanic guy on the phone. He purchased it from the owner he was selling it for due to the high level of interest. He just kept it for himself

The car has a new owner. Sold!

As stated above, these cars don't come up that often and when they do, they go fast. I could have purchased the car but I'm out of garage space and then some.

I would have wired him the money immediately, Is it true that the original owner mechanic bought it back, or was that just some hot Air?

I just checked the messages and emails and it was all of 21 MINUTES!

Granted, the official closing took a bit longer but it was never in doubt.

And I'll say here publicly what I told you in email: I give you a LOT of credit for doing this kind of thing, Jeff. If it weren't for you, this little community of ours would be a whole lot less interesting.

And longrunner1, sorry it didn't work out! I was hoping you'd get it and it would be a local car. (EDIT: I PMd you...)

As you know, my goal is only to promote the enthusiasm behind these great cars. Thanks

Yes, he was the one who contacted me as a rep for the woman owner. he offered me the car first and then asked for help selling it, which of course I was willing to do. I had 7 hits today which I forwarded to him. then he decided that he wanted to buy the car from the seller as he was surprised by all the interest. I did specifically tell him that there would be plenty of interest and that the car would sell fast. You just need the right ad and the production stats.

he will be responding to this thread shortly.

Thanks V , it wasn't meant to be, but it looks like its back in the hands of the original owner, maybe there still hope!

Hi, everyone.
I am sure I pissed a lot of you off today and I do apologize. I am the previous owner and told Jeffery the currant owner wanted to sell. All true, He asked me if I was sure I didn't want it and I said no list it. I then about 6 hours later came to the decision that I would buy the car back pulling the rug out from under all of you that contacted me to buy it and Jeffery who used his reputation to list it for me. I apologize again and don't blame Jeffery he was told it was for sale which it was I just bought it back before everybody else got a chance.

Sorry,
Tioga

It's interesting how this car has changed hands 3 times in 5 years and has only gone 1 thousand miles! This whole situation sounds fishy to me......

Congrats on re-purchase!
I was thinking of getting the BB exhaust. Were you happy with it?
