Default fuel fires

Hello all,

Does anyone know if the 968 has the same fuel rail/hoses issues as the 951 as far as fuel fires and bad connections?

thanks.

Not that I am aware of, if you notice the 968 has a threaded connector on the fuel lines compared to 951 clamps. That is a big reason for lack of fires.

Raj, how much boost are you going to be running in your new engine?

Probably have two settings, one will be for .8 to 1 bar depending on how it feels and the other will be overboost at 1.3bar. I normally don't believe in boosting over 1 bar but it will be there just in case i come across a real contender .

Raj,

I bet you're gonna' find a lot of reasons to go with 1.3 bar!

It's gonna' be addictive, I bet!
