Decent spec. Price is quite rich, if not for the color.

This is not Raj's old car. This is one of the other Riv blue cabs.

Raj's old car had the marble grey/black interior with a black top.

Of the 5 Riv blue cabs we had:
1 with a black top and interior
1 with a black top and a marble grey/black interior (Raj's old car)
2 with a dark blue top and a midnight blue interior (the car for sale is one of them)
1 with a dark blue top and a marble grey/black interior

Also interesting, all 5 Riv blue cabs were 6 speed manuals.

I wonder how Riviera Blue would have paired with Cashmere? Can't decide if my mental picture is vomit inducing, or attractive.

No, mine had a lot of tasteful mods (over $6-7k worth). Also, mine was with marble gray interior, a very nice combo with riviera blue.
My car was fully sorted and restored front to back. The entire process was documented on Rennlist.

A color can definitely add value to a 968 (obviously depending on the buyer). Best way to value a car is to see what it would be worth without that color and add $$ to how much you are willing to pay for that particular color.

The Riviera blue cab belongs to me, purchased it in late 2016, one owner car to that point. I consider this car very well sorted, mechanically and cosmetically, spent the last year and a half going through her.

Cheers,

Default share your expertise, please

I'm looking to purchase my first 911...I'm not likely to go outside of Texas, and it would have to be a really special deal to get me out of Houston....so, I've been shopping online for a while....can you give me your impression of this one?

This one is just 30 minutes away, but before I drive down there and see it, I thought you guys might have some insight..

Thanks in advance!

What John said! + If you get a PrePurchase Inspection done by a reputable Porsche shop you should be able to buy with confidence. This should cost $200-600.
Find one in the colors that you like. manual or PDK? Get a PPI done. you should be good to go....
Why do only want to buy your neighbor's car?
