The factory CD changer (option 692) was only available with the CR1.

At least I'm not alone! Tons of parts and pieces around my home like buried treasures. Now where's that treasure map? Lol

I'm going to storage this weekend to seek the radios and the headlight. Good luck to me and those hanging in there. What about 968 Owner's Manuals, Radio manuals, OEM tool kits, Compressors. Should I be looking for those as well.

Fingers crossed for a CR-1 or CD-2! A manual would be a bonus!

Sent this pm to a few people on patient ice until I can find the box of treasures.

Went to storage yesterday. Went thru several boxes with no luck. Boxes were moved in haste and not labelled well. Going back today to see if I can peruse a few more. Also looking for CD1 and CD2 and manuals and some parts I need to put on the Pasha car. Also, have some things I want to sell and need to drag them out. Bat wing, some 1/43 models, etc. I don't mind if you follow up with me. I have others following up as well. Just wish I had them in my hand when I spoke up. I actually thought the headlight was in a box in the rear of the Pasha car, but nope. Hang in there. I think I have it and if I do its yours. Second trip still seeking the mystery box or boxes. Sorry! I should have made sure these things were within reach before I tossed em out there.

As I opened the box I lost, low and behold, I found a Reno 2 cassette stereo instead of a CD-2.
It was in a Blaupunkt Dearborn stereo box in my stash. Must be out of a 944 I owned with 18,000 miles on it.

Hi All,

I'm still looking for a CR-1 or CD-2. Please drop me a note if you have one to sell.

Thanks!

I'm still convinced I have both. Someday they will appear. You are on the short list for the info.
