Speed Yellow coupe #5 on eBay
Well, every once and a while they surface. I have been watching 968s for alomst 20 years and have never seen this car. CarFax told us it was out there but no one ever saw it. Well, it popped up on eBay and with an incredible 27K miles. If confirmed and the condition good then this car should do well. Only two options: partial leather and a painted rear spoiler, but it is speed yellow and very rare. Stay tuned and we'll see how it does.

The bid is up to $15,000 ( reserve not met ) .
I would advise any serious buyer to contact the seller and negotiate a purchase .
Kind of have a feeling that " no longer available " could be posted by the end of the day .
Just my 2 cents worth, as I watched my friends #3 SY cabriolet sell within a day . Sold to a fellow RL'er .

Well, as you know SY cab #3 just sold for $29K in March and had 2 buyers in line to purchase it if the deal fell through. Although very nice, it did have a couple of mods and 43K miles. This car, if it checks out, could hit $30K+.

Current ebay bid is $25,100.30 with 6 days left, will be interesting. Wonder how a 27k mile coupe compares with a 43k mile cab in regards to value/price? Think likely it'll bring more. Guess we'll see eh?

That's a pretty thin description for what is rapidly becoming an eye-watering price. Also a bit surprised he didn't pay to get the engine or interior detailed prior to listing for sale. And what's with the crappy cell phone pics?

I thought the same. Maybe he knows what he has.

this moment marks the first time I've ever been impressed by what some anything not running a turbo is about to fetch.

I'll be watching this one very closely - not at all as potential buyer, but just someone in love with the model and this color in particular. I've actually owned 2 of the 10 SY cabs. #10 in the late 90s which I sold in '04, and now #3, as mentioned.
And the mods Jeff referred to are all "bolt-ons" like strut and chassis braces, a drilled airbox, and an RS Barn chip. Even the stock radio is in hand. So, nothing that can't be undone on a Saturday afternoon.
I HOPE the seller knows what (s)he has!

Also... someone should grab a screenie of that listing and the pics and put them here for future reference in case a non-RL'er scoops it up. Before it disappears. I'm traveling and on a mobile device or I'd do it myself.
