Default yellow 968

Thanks for the reply Jef, you are so right, when I think about it I paid way more for my purple car just cause I loved the color. The condition and price were really bad and I have spent a fortune on th7s. BUT I would buy it again in a minute! Love this car!
Have a great time at zone 1 I wanted to go so bad, and it is so close to home, but family first.

I hate to say it. But the fact that we will soon be able to legally import Club Sports or other desirable optioned cars, it will kill the rare usa 968 market. All the "one of's" and "few of's" options and color wise, will be obsolete. I think sadly this is the top of the us 968 market now and future.

CS in desirable colors or M030 are pretty well picked over, at least in Europe, and when they become available then they cost more than $30k. Even if you find a bargain, how much is shipping etc?

while I think it's so very nice, I'm dubious if this car selling for whatever means a whole hell of a lot. my temporary over-exuberance got the best of me in a previous post. great if someone has a yellow car. God forbid having some car that rises a few thousand dollars if it causes someone to think they can't drive it.. I don't own a yellow car, much less want to.

I hear you 100%. They will be more than 30k. Hence my top of the mark comment about rare U.S. cars. I LOVE your car Trevor. I still daydream about it from time to time like a lost girlfriend....lol. For your sake, and the guys like you that have special 968's, I hope I am wrong. The only example that does not fit in this imaginary box that I can think of is Raj's Turbo.

Unknown - for the time being apparently.

Hope the new owner finds this place and becomes a member.

What if the buyer wants a cab? There is nothing available in the EURO cab market that the US didn't get. Based on the comnments that I get a at shows as well as two very strong resent sales I'm optimistic that the 968 market will continue to rise. Their uniqueness, rareity, combined with the timeless design will continue to push their rising value. That said, I continue to drive mine. parade in Indiana in 5 weeks.

I don't know how accurate this is, but maybe the value of a club sport here in the USA will go down a bit, not 40k asking prices I have seen recently? Then again they could climb. If money was no issues, people have brought them over, just couldnt drive them on the public roads legally,

Once they can be imported easier, this is the numbers, there are nearly as many club sports made as all the coupes sent to the US.

In total, only 1,923 Club Sports were produced worldwide (for the British, European, Japanese and Australian markets) between 1993 and 1995. The Club Sport was mostly available in 'black', 'guards red', 'maritime blue', 'grand prix white' and 'speed yellow', but further cars were also produced in colours including 'amaranth violet', 'iris blue', 'midnight blue' and 'polar silver'. Having not been originally available in America, the Club Sport becomes legal for importing in 2018 (upon reaching 25 years of age).

I honestly didn't factor the cabs into my thoughts. I guess Raj's selling price on the riv cab will tell us sooner or later. That is if we ever know the actual selling price.

Spped Yellow cab #3 sold for $29K in March of this year. There were 3 buyers ready to put down the cash. Buyer #1 got to it first and got it. It will be listed in a future Excellence marketing report.
