Well, I've been looking at this post for days now and I finally have to say it:
This car is priced about $5-6,000 too high.
Aftermarket mods, no matter how tastefully done, are rarely worth what they cost when it comes to resale. The car looks to be in great condition, and the wheels are nice, but $23,500 is too high - particularly with a car with close to 100k miles.
I have been looking hard for a lower mileage 968 lately, and I have found some very nice cars with only 50-60k priced well below $20,000.
I wish you the best of luck selling what seems to be a very nice car - but, drop the price if you want to sell.

RPM, you are obviously entitled to your opinion, however, if you are uninterested in the car theres really no reason for you to post at all. I'm not looking to be on this thread debating on whose idea of what the car is worth is right or wrong.
You have found other 968s with lower miles for under 20k, then buy one of those. I am not in a hurry to sell nor do I really want to sell the car but if someone appreciates the car for what it is and wants to seriously negotiate with me, thats who I'm interested in talking to.
thanx

A car is worth what it finally sells for. The market will determine the price, and the market consists of a buyer and a seller. I've bought two 968's, one a 33K mile coupe, the other a 19K mile cab-and recently 'sat in' on another 14K mile cab sale-so I can talk with authority on the subject.
We (968.netters) had a very low mile coupe picked up on ebay last spring for almost nothing-the seller wasn't interested in maximizing return. Do we compare every car to that one? Obviously, no.
RPM, keep us posted on your purchase details-when, how much, car condition, etc so we may pass comment!

Devilgrl, don't pay no mind. As a buyer ofcourse he will try to tell you that. Your mods are very tasteful and you just have to wait for the right buyer who can appreciate them. To say that your mods are worth nothing is plain and simple offensive. Hey, buy a stock car then, why even bother looking at yours.
Ofcourse, the right buyer may take some time to comeby and the bad economy does not help. That said, you are in a good position as you don't really have to sell it. Stick to your guns and hopefully someone will comeby.
Good luck.
