For sale is a “REAL” 1994 Speed Yellow cabriolet. The car is #3 of the 10 SY 968 cabs produced for the North American market. Actually, there are only 9 left as SY cab #9 was purchased a couple of years ago and shipped BACK to Germany. When it comes to collectible 968s, the Speed Yellow examples represent the high water mark being that they are so rare and the color looks so great on the car. This car has just 47K miles on it. In additional to the fantastic paint hue this 6-speed manual 968 has three factory options: Code LT partial leather seats, Code XD4 painted crest wheel center caps, and code 437 full power 8-way driver’s seat. The timing belts were just replaced and the owner reports no issues with the car. It is presented in excellent condition which reflects the care. There are some modifications from stock (euro turn signals, strut bar, radio, 17” wheels) which can be returned to original if the new owner desires. You can speak to the current owner about those. The asking price for this rare 968 is $29,900. The car currently resides in Vermont. These very special 968s rarely trade hands. If you are interested in this desirable car and would like the current owner’s contact information please PM me. Thanks

I was thinking of the middle SY cab in the pic, #2 from NH.
Jeff what you said about the SY 968s being a rare & special is true. I've even had non Porsche owners ask me to let them know if I ever sold mine cause they'd be interested. Mine has more miles than #3, at 72k, but I wouldn't even consider anything less than $25k for mine. Even then I have no interest in selling. Just not something easily replaced. This is also shown by the fact that #9 was purchased by someone in Germany. Anytime a car is bought to ship across an ocean helps to show its a bit more than just another example of a great sports car. I looked at 968 Cabs for a dozen years before I found this one. In the mean time I bought three 928s, & a Z4.
