Guys,
Just thought I'd share. I "stole" a set of 968 factory sport seats for a few hundred bucks from a very motivated seller. And even though they were in decent shape, I wanted them just a little even mo betta.
So I had the seller ship them directly to leatherseats.com (with whom I have no affiliation other than as a first time customer) for reupholstering. I chose them for a couple of reasons. First of all, I'm on Long Island NY and everything here auto-interior related is just ridiculously expensive. Secondly, the guys at leatherseats were supreeeeemely helpful, responsive, professional, and personable to boot. They had a preexisting video demonstrating their experience with Porsche seats, and even 968 seats - another plus.
Here's a sneak peak at the seats. Can't wait to get them in hand and then in the car! My interior is two-tone, and I think this will compliment it nicely.
Now... can anyone recommend a source for quality carpet? I need to replace every fuzzy tan surface with black.

Thanks. I think it's against policy to post prices here in the forums, but you can see them directly on their website. They have a configuration tool to walk you through everything.
If the finished product is anywhere near as good as the engagement so far then I'll be a happy customer.

Very nice....I did call them when I got my car....for two full pimped out leather covers with Alcantara inserts, they were about $1700. You still had to have them installed.
That is best left to a pro as they will fit them perfectly for you.

Thanks, guys.
PW, They're getting professionally installed as part of my refresh project.
968TurboS, which stitching style are you referring to? This double stitch in deviating color (tan on black) style is more current than the factory piping. But there are more aggressive styles like double cross stitch that look like Xs. I felt that those are too aggressive and don't match the look of the car or its performance.

Hi V, I meant the later, 94-95 style stiching within the bottoms and center. There was a difference between early seat sitching and later ones, which is what I was referring to.
