I was fortunate enough to get a ride in the car yesterday, and just as the odometer was flipping to 40,000 miles. The car is amazing, loved the firm suspension, and it is FAST! Its driver knows how to turn a wheel in anger as well. Totally enjoyed spending time with you Raj!

I'll be darned! So that is you! I saw the 968 and tore into the magazine just to read about it. What a great article with beautiful photos. Congratulations. I've owned my car for about five or six years now and have been slowly fixing it up, removing the dings, painting it and refurbishing the interior. Most of the major stuff is done, though it seems as if I get one nagging thing fixed and something else pops up. (I'm not a mechanic so I have to pay for the wrenching. I do a lot of the interior work just because it is easy to replace things.) I love this car. Every time my wife and I ride in it out in the country here in Oregon, I can't help but respect how the engineers designed this and were able to fulfill their vision. It is also my daily driver, and I probably put around 6000 miles a year on it. Now, I have to find out what is causing a methodical lag in the engine with the AC on. Congratulations again on such a terrific article.

You've done an amazing job making the car what it is now. I remember when you bought it. It took a lot of commitment and vision to get it to where it is now without straying from keeping it factory correct.

Tony, kids are growing, so that has taken priority. Last yr I was able to put 2k on the turbo so things are looking up. Too many options sometimes makes it difficult to add miles.

Eric, you have no idea how many people were inspired by your car. I think you might have been the motivation behind me getting started

As far as valving, I know it's definitely different. The front spring are actually Porsche 959 items with 959 part number

I got my issue on Wednesday and read it yesterday. All I can say is fascinating and so impressive. Although I know much of the story from seeing Raj over the years it was great to see an article where the journey was all put together in one place. What a complicated recipe for an amazing vehicle. Thanks for doing this Raj and continued great PR for the 968s!!!

Congrats and great article, Raj. Hopefully one of these years I'll make it down to Hershey to see it. Like you and others have said...these cars are very special and unique and I don't see myself selling mine anytime.
