Sunroof Delete
Old Sunroof removed...next step is to prep the donor (stock) non-sunroof panel.

Thanks Julian. I was thinking about leaving them in to support the roof line from any flexing, not for structure. Thoughts?

The last photo appears to have a motor in place and does not appear to be from Stuttgart........ At least you have you HP priorities correct.

Since the roof is curved in multiple planes it's very rigid once it's spot welded in place. I replaced mine because of some dents, and the sunroof stuff wasn't there.

Nice! I bet that'll stiffen the chassis just a touch and loose a few lbs as well. (though truth be told I quite like driving with the sunroof cracked on my DD 968).
