I just went to the garage and checked mine. My car is a 92 with the round hole type spare.

I have the round hole model. I recently tried to get my collapsible tire replaced due to age and basically discovered that a new replacement tire would cost in the $1k range. I decided to just risk using this tire if I ever had to. As mentioned, my tire seems in good shape I guess due to being in an enclosed environment. I have only inflated/used my spare once.
Btw, my pump is gradually freezing and blow the cig lighter fuse most times I try to use it. I guess I could try to disassemble it and try to lubricate. Instead I just bought a cheap Walmart pump.

I found this thread....doing some research on where to install amps for the radio....I was looking at my spare tire location, but there isn't much room. Interesting to see that my spare is mounted on an angle:
And this one is mounted vertically:
I took my spare out again, even the bracket is on an angle....if the spare was vertical, I suppose it might be easier to get an amp in on the front side of the spare. But mine being on angle, there is no way....I'm thinking under the seats.
Is your spare vertical or on an angle? Mine is a 93

I once got a valentine from the ugliest girl in the class.
still, the crusty, 20 year old spare tire that may get me 200 feet down the road is even more horrid.
