Default Side skirt delete

Has anyone seen a car driving without the side skirts. I did a test fit of the front clip, as there were a few mods done to it and thought it could look ok without the skirts.

I did a retouch on mine a while ago as I think they look dated. It's as far as I got though...

That looks great! I might have to try and blend mine in when I get to that point in bodywork.

Doesn't look bad, just looks like a 944.

That's what the UK gang said. I'd still do it if I had the right amounts of motivation, cash and time. I did a very subtle tweak to - were the cill was straight. I'll try and find it.

Heretiz...

It would be a difficult mod because the lower part of the body just in front of the rear wheels is significantly cut away on the 968 - this area is hidden when the side panels are in place. I currently have my side panels off for a re-spray and new rubber gaskets. I can snap a pic when I get home.

Yes, it will take some sheet metal there and also behind the front wheel and the holes under the sill would have to be filled. Not too big a job though, but once done there's no going back. It will give me the chance to route the exhaust out the sides, that would look great.

epoxy and glass could be effective here.

polyester is too weak.

Will the 951 skirts fit?
