So, I have all the parts now.
Cams look good, Vario cam seems to work as advertiised. new chain and pads.
I just found some info on timing using the exhaust lobe of #1 to set the cams.

The WSM is not the easiest to follow in this area.

Does anyone have a link to the newer method or instructions?
Does anyone have the Cam Block that i can borrow?
Does anyone have a flywheel lock that i can borrow?

This junk yard find seems like it will be just fine.
