Those look like the bits made by Jager Engineering. They're not vinyl, but still stick on over the original trim, if I understand correctly.

Ever considered making your own wood dash items, out of balsa, basswood, or some more exotic veneer wood?

I was at a Michael's craft store today, they have 1/32" and 1/16" balsa and basswood in 3" X 24" strips for just a couple of bucks. You would not need much, maybe 2 or 3 strips. It could be stained and/or finished with urethane.

Just a thought, so I wonder if anybody here has tried this.

Nope, the console piece gives it away as a plastic add-on.

I had that in my black on black Cab. For some reason there was not piece on the passenger door panel. I think the prior owner had it installed by the dealer. Looked good until it no longer looked good due to age. Funny enough my friend/mechanic pulled it off probably because it was warping and cracking around the shifter. I guess he threw it away.

Do any of the stock wood options have wood door sills? I saw that recently and wondered about it. It also had the dash and door and console pieces.
Speaking of rare options has anybody run across HH2a? The double amplified hyena horn. Awesome sound but illegal Db in most metro areas.

Nope, there were a number of additional rootwood pieces available through the Porsche Exclusive program but a door sill was not one of them.

Personal opinion, wood dashes belong on Morgans, Rolls Royce and vintage Jaguars. Not Porsches. I just think they look tacky inside a 968/911/etc.
