Yes, you could get the cloth added to the door panels. Option code 526 and you could get the cloth Porsche script or the plaid added to the door panels. Attached is a shot of the plaid interior, called multicolor coth. This example is in Magenta and has the inserts only as opposed to the entire seat top. Only 6 North american coupes (out of 2,234) and 1 cab (out of 2,008) had this option. Very rare. If you ever see it. it looks really nice in Grey IMHO.
Interestingly, in the 944 the pattern is rotated 45 degrees. And for both colors it covers the entire seat; bolsters and insert.
At least one 1989 Speedster came with Plaid sport seats - they were cool. Those were also full cloth.
Seen the burgandy and grey versions, was't there also a blue or green one?
So how many 968's had cloth (script or plaid) and sport seats?
