Default New 968 Rims

Have any of you changed rims from a newer Porsche Model to your 968? I just bought a 1992 968 Coupe. I was thinking of switching the rims to that of a Panamera, as I saw someone locally in LA selling his stock rims (though I have no idea whether they'd fit...).

Thoughts?

I've seen some nice 996 5 spokes that looked great on a 968.

Ah cool, I'll have to check those out. Have you done any modifications/updgrades on yours?

I've got the Boxster S II's on mine. I don't know if you can find a Panamera wheel in anything but 18" and up, and the 968 is (IMHO) best with a 17" wheel maximum. There are some who run 18's but they're heavier and put a lot of added stress on the suspension bits.

I'm assuming you mean the "Carrera" wheel (18", released on the 2002 911), often referred to as "MY02".

This is definitely my favorite wheel for the 968.

5 spoke wheels look nice on the 968, using cayman rims my self planning on painting them black.
