Any other Atlanta 968 owners on here?
I sure would like to plan a get together and take some pictures of all the cars together. I have a neighbor with a red coupe and have been talking with Lance in Covington so we have at least three cars so far.

Find Ray Starbird, I think he stills lives in the Atlanta area-and he's the one who really created the first 968 community. Most of his fans are here, although he has resurrected 968.net. Great guy.

ATL 968's
I have a 93 cab and I live in Decatur! I've seen one red cab in my area but I've never been able to get his attention because either he's going in the opposite direction or I'm in my 928 or 944 driving way to fast.

It's funny, I'm a huge "car guy" and I have a few unique cars, and I'm a huge internet forum user, but I just recently discovered a useful site for my Mercedes 6.9 and now I found this site today. I guess I should have been looking around more.
Anyways, I live in Buckhead. My 968 is usually parked on the street behind Fellinis Pizza. I've had my '94 since '95. I should top 170k miles in a month or so but it's currently my secondary car. I used to work at times in Stone Mtn and I'd pass an exact duplicate of my car going back and forth out there. Otherwise I guess I've seen 10-20 968s in Atlanta since I've had mine.
Interestingly, a 944 sits on the street a block over from me. I've never had a chance to talk to the owner. Also another funny coincidence is that one of my friends was trying to get me to use his brother-in-law for mechanic work. He has a Rover shop (The Shop in Norcross) so I figured why bother, but come to find out this guy started out with Porsches and he really prefers 968s. He's had a red 968 track car project for a few years now but still only has a few track mods completed. He gives me great deal on my 968 work since I just leave the car with him and he drives it around as he pleases..lol. I hope to get time to get out in his track car.

If you get a chance PM me your email address so we can keep in touch and do a get-together.
