I know someone use to build one for 944s & 951s, but can't find that info either

Byron, it's stock, not aluminum. PM me with anything you have in mind. The TT is out of the car and immediately available.

Maybe Constantine at Black Sea R&D would have an idea about the aluminum - considering his business is specifically rebuilds of 924/944/968/926 torque tubes? I've never spoken with them personally, but I've seen posts about their product on a couple of forums and they're generally highly regarded.

No, I didn't miss anything, Gene & I have traded stuff over the years & he was very clear that it is a stock part.

We have a call into them, waiting for a estimate on a rebuild.
Looks like the no ones offers an aluminum one for a 968 (sad since Vetts have em)

Yes sir.. Any idea on the type of driving was done (cab, street cruising, coupe with coil overs, track, little old lady, ect)

I doubt the car was tracked. It had stock sway bars and Cup Is on it when I bought it.
However, my avatar does suggest that I drove the wheels off it...

no offense, but the aluminum tt concept is not a great idea, imo.

the steel tt is and integral part of the car's design for safety in the event of a front end crash.

OD, speaking of TTs, if you still have your old one and if you are still heading up OKC way sometime, let me know. I'll give you the going rate for your old one.
