Doug, you should have two bags, one with a pair of white gloves and another with a work rag. And don't forget, even the bags are special. You'll want to make sure they have the red clasp!

There was a front plastic cowl on 968.net as of July 30th.

sad but true.....
the obsession with having all these accessories in their pristine state is a bit weird...... i drove across a sheet of ice and death for 270 miles @ 25 mph on my private (interstate 95) with a 3/4 inch coating of ice on the car and almost destroyed it 77 times.... drive it on the beach, through quicksand and mud, filthy, dirty... sleep in it on the infield at Daytona with body odor, doritos spilled everywhere, a failed head gasket and leaking every kind of fluid all over creation and driving on unimaginably bald tires.
gotta be either 993 or V8 envy.

I'm telling you they have two in actuality. I've owned a number of these cars since 1996 and they have always had two. The owner's manual will probably show that they each have their own bag. I'll post a copy when i get home.

Hey, don't tell me, tell PORSCHE. I gave you the reference. I'm not the one saying it has only one bag PORSCHE is saying that. If you want to rebuild your 968 from the ground up, with every nut and bolt accounted for, I don't think the owners manual is going to help. However, there is a PN for the owners manual as well, and that is part of the PET I've referenced. Maybe when it gets to the dealer they add a new bag and move the rag into it. When it left the factory, the BoM calls for one bag.
