help me determine value of a 968
I have a chance to but a 968 cheap. The car is a 92, dark grey, black leather, 171k miles, not too rough cosmetically, but far from perfect. Needs a clutch, a tune up, and rear shocks. Prob t-belts too. Oh, and the trans has lsd. What do you guys think?

Body and int condition will determine the value. Unless of course, if you are a body man.
I paid $2k for a rough 92 in May now I have about $2k more in it, and haven't touched the body, but it's running pretty well. If you are not a DIY kind, it's gonna get costly fast. If you do your own wrenching, parts are avail fairly cheap.
If you decide to pass on it, please give me next option on it. I need one more.

leather, LSD... and a few warts.... i'm sure there will be more stuff that comes up. but you can get everything sorted and end up with a great car. run to the cash machine and get it. good luck !

I'm definitely going to buy it. Wifey wants it. Now, if i can only figure out how to get the electrics to work with a 951 trans so i can steal the 968 lsd box for myself...

I am actually thinking of selling all my Porsche stuff. I am parting one 951, getting ready to sell another 951..... I am going to see what happens when the dust settles....for the 968.
