Torque Tube Bearing sources?

It sounds like I may have a torque tube bearing that has died. Kind of like a piece of gravel rolling around inside a tube sound. Anyway short of getting a set of Black Sea Super Bearings, anybody got a source for a good or better than factory equivalent?
I have looked a fair amount on RL and other sources and haven't had much luck. Had one of our engineers contact SKF today and talked to one of their applications engineers. They got real close except for the high tempeture grease part.
From what I gathered in my search is that the Porsche factory used a 6006ZB C4 bearing which is NLA. SKF 6006 2Z C5 HT51 is I think what might be a good replacement for stock except it isn't available or doesn't have the right grease. The bearing is 13mm x 30mm x 55mm steel cage with steel shields on both sides, deep ball groove ball bearings single row and with high tempeture grease. I'm not exactly sure on the ball to race clearance.
Any ideas? Thanks guys!

The C4 are available, although hard to find:

Expect to pay about 4 times more than C5 clearance bearings.
The other alternative is of course Super Bearings. You may be better off with these rather than C4 given the price.

Doug,
What's your objection to the super bearings - purely cost? Also, does your torque tube have a slit going along its bottom? I've heard those can be difficult to rebuild (mine has one). Good luck with your search.

Thanks Eric, I did a quick check on those SNR bearings you used. Looks like SNR is a Swiss company that merged with NTN. One of our engineers has inquired with our NTN rep about availability. I hope to hear something soon.
Cloud, I think that the Super Bearings are great. I'm trying to save a little extra money for a lift in my garage and 5-6 hundred dollars would go a long way towards that. And I do believe my torque tube has the slot.
OD, I called Oklahoma Foreign today. No torque tubes in stock. That would have been too convenient. Heck, even one with trashed bearings, rebuild it first then swap. Rebuild and have a spare.
I'll let you guys know what I turn up.

The last time I checked on eBay, there were at least two TT's for sale, and they were suprisingly inexpensive, irrc. Shipping could be a bit pricey, though.
A lift, huh? You're living my dream!

I found a source for the bearings through a local bearing house. They ordered them for me from the Consolidated Bearings Company in New Jersey. The bearings arrived today. I was a little disapointed that what they sent weren't NTN. The inner race is marked thus: 6006 CONS TURKEY A. Both of the steel side shields are marked 6006 ZR. I have no idea what the spec on the grease is in these bearings is for sure. All that being said though, the one I removed from the package is very nicely ground and feels very smooth in rotation. I think these will do. Cost with shiping came to $83 and some change.
Made a copy of bearing sleeve print from Clarks Garage. I'll run into OKC in the next week or two and buy some Delrin or whatever seems best to make some new sleeves out of. Need to do more research on that. I'm not so up to speed on plastics. I'll let you guys know.

You would think that with the combined total number 928, 944, and 968s still on the road that one of the major bearing manufacturers could make up a batch of a few thousand bearings for prosperity. Probably all comes down to money and there just isn't enough there to justify the short production run.
