Default Seats

Glad to share. I started with seats, mounts, and sliders exactly like this set for sale here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...bon-seats.html
And then I had them recovered to match the rest of my interior.

I can't give you helpful feedback on headroom for two reasons:
1) I replaced my sunroof with a sunroof delete panel from a scrapyard donor and
2) I plan to have my interior guy make a custom one piece headliner like you see in more recent cars.

Thanks for the tip Gene! Big fan of Eastwood products. Bought some of the satin black and I must say, pretty darn impressed!

Gene, all of those interior upgrades look fabulous, clean, tight....awesome!

With all that interior **** I almost tripped over that comment about the new AEM Infinity ECU. Do tell.... What is that all about?

I have Miles' turbo engine in the car. It used a Euro1 ecu. Remember the Euro1? Nobody does! I think they are on v6 of the Euro ecu line. Anyway, without any support I would either need to learn the system and put up with technology from 2001 or go to a modern ecu. The AEM Infinity seemed to be the best option for me.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a Miles' turbo engine?

Is this based on the 968 3.0L or the S2 3.0L or a 944/51 variant?

I thought all the 968 turbo rs cars had 8 valve heads (not sure why an S2 head would not flow more or if Porsche thought there were just too many moving parts for the pressures of turbo charging)

Wow, that was quite the build on that car.

So back to the ECU question. The one that came with this car having troubles or the new one you mentioned offer so much more tuning ability?

Additional random thought, you still have those white Cup 1's and that white front splitter?

The part out of the white car is complete with the exception of the turbo hood.
When I got the white car, the stock ecu was not installed, just the Euro1. Because the newer ecu's process so much faster, have great tech support, easily handle the variocam, as well as Flex Fuel, I opted to upgrade my ignition.

Have you ever looked at this, and maybe some of the learning curve has been exhausted.

I'm now a member of club psycho as well! My wife: "why would you fix something no one can see?"
