Windshield washer reservoir removal
I've never once used the windshield washers in the 6+ years I've owned the car (I don't even think they work), and as I'm converting it to a mostly-track car, I'd like to remove the reservoir. I have the fender liner off, and have removed two two nuts that are visible, but it still feels like something is holding it. Is there a way to remove it without having to remove the fender? Thanks.
PS If I get it off, I'd be happy to sell it to anyone who needs one.

Yes, but in addition to the filler neck, there's a third bolt on the inner fender well, in the battery compartment area, that needs to come out. Once I took that last bolt off, the reservoir came out easily. And I was very pleased to find that the reservoir was nearly full, so I weighed it, and was thrilled to find that it weighs a whopping 12 pounds! My next mission is to track down the washer motor, and yank it out as well. I'm well on the way to my goal of pulling 200 pounds out of the car.

Thanks; I'll take a look. But I put the fender liner back on already. Do I have to take it back off to get to the motor (it's not a big deal if I do)?

Hi Larry,
Not sure. I haven't taken the motor out yet, so I don't have a good feel for how much there is to it. Plus, I'd like to test it to make sure it works. Let me see if I can take it out tonight, and I'll send you a PM. Thanks.
