Default Part that is cracked - looking for replacement

Hi everyone...

I'm in Canada own a '95 Porsche 968 black/black....

Below the engine hood and above the license plate holder there is a grill insert that runs from left to right on the car. The previous owner of my car had a plug that he pulled through the engine that was connected to the battery (to keep his battery charged at night during the winter) - and has cracked that grill where the plug insert used to come out of...it looks horrible and I want to find a replacement.....

Does anyone know where I can find that part in black at a good online vendor?

Secondly - the steering wheel in the car - the horn buttons are all worn off and wonder if I can get replacement caps for them, or if I'll have to replace the whole wheel itself...any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Frank

Hi Frank,

Porsche only produced 1 968 coupe for Canada in 1995 and it also happened to be the very last North American 968 coupe ever produced. It was black/black in color. I don't suppose your VIN ends with 319?

Default Spare steering wheel

Miramar,

I have a spare steering wheel. The wheel needs recovering, but you may be able to use the horn buttons.

I had the exact same wheel on a 90 VWcab. Center had VW not Porsche, but the buttons are the same.
