Hey guys looks like I am getting a 968 coupe!
Hi everyone, very soon I should be the proud new owner of a 1992 968 coupe 6 speed for my "new" daily driver. I've had 5 944 Turbos but this is my first 968. I've always wanted one and have always been a fan, I'm rather excited! More info soon!! Does anyone else drive their 968 on a daily basis? Does the 968 make a decent driver?

Welcome, you'll love the 968.
Mine is once again my daily driver after fixing all the front-end issues (bad ball joints, shocks, bushings). Raining today and I still drove it

Congrats!! They are great cars. If you need production data on your car send me the year and the last three digits of the VIN and I'll let you know how it compares. Good luck!

first of all, welcome and congratulations. second of all, i'll be over next thursday to mod the f uck out of the car. third of all, after 179 successful drives of over 1000 miles, i can attest, that these are, indeed, great cars.
just do the scheduled maintenance and keep the fluids topped off.
mods...

Thanks guys! Funny you mentioned OD, I would let his avatar near me! WOW
The car has been mechanically maintained from day 1. I have 90% of all the service receipts. The paint has a few clearcoat spots coming up. Does not bother me as I will be DD'ing it. Pics coming soon after a major detail. It does need some sorting, but I can do that while I drive her. I've had a bunch of 951s and loved them so I thought the 968 would fit me like a glove and it does.
I need a Idle stabilizer valve and a drivers side fog light. Used is fine, PM me here.
Jeff, you have a PM!

Congratulations! Especially on getting a manual coupe, that is the "correct" 968 to have! I daily drive mine, and while mine would not be useable as a DD for a normal person...I'm not a normal person, and I love it! Stock 968s make great daily drivers, though. Now...pictures!

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in getting these posted. I've been driving the heck out of that car. I gotta tell you it is a superb car. Its smooth, quiet when you want it to be, it is such a beautiful car. I do love it....and WOW the handling is really excellent. Here are a few pics before the detail. What do you think??

blue or black, its hard to tell. if its black/cashmere, then its a mirror image of my own '92 although mine has 17" cup 1s... im assuming your cup 2s are a later addition? i seem to recall they were the 17" option on later 968s. Looks great, enjoy!
oh i also had a 951 and an NA before this, they're addicting aren't they?
