Not today, a little awhile ago, but my 6 yr old daughter has been dying to work on the 968, so I came up with a project she could help with- install the Euro turn signals:
While we had the turn signals out, we replaced all of the light bulbs, which was a good thing. The fog/driving lights seemed to be in good condition, but the turn signal bulbs, where the glass attaches to the brass housing was loose. So, if you have not checked yours lately, I would do that when you get a chance.

Took care of the irritating perpetual heat that would occur unless the temperature was turned all the way down and the AC turned on. Turns out the clip for the heater support fastener was broken. Replaced it and now I have had to increase the temperature! We shall see how it holds up in the summer. BTW, does anyone know the part number for the cover? When I took mine off, the top screw hole seems to be broken, so I was thinking about picking up one more. The part # embossed on the inside of the part is 944.572.572.00 with THA underneath it. Unfortunately, I have not found it anywhere.

So you used the Lindsey Racing strut bodies and spring perches and just replaced the insets with Koni's?
Thanks,

No, these are the factory 968 Sachs strut bodies, cleaned up, cut off per instructions, drilled at bottom per instructions (to hold strut insert in properly with supplied screw) for the Koni sport inserts(Jason @ Paragon), painted yellow (Amazon Plasticoat School bus yellow enamel $9), purchased new factory bump stops and dust covers(Porsche Delaware). These are the factory springs and perches as well.

New antenna - mine just looked like a rusted spring.
Door gaskets finally installed without cutting any slots to fit around the central locking switch and other connections.
It was epic chore that I could do again with a lot more finesse... it felt like surgery, and my hand is cramped today from trying to find the proper leverage.
I managed to break the drive-side linkage without even knowing it. The replacement (944-537-261-02) is more robust, however it did not come with a replacement pin, so I hope she holds.
I will likely revisit it when I get the re-upholstered door cards and new speakers installed... stay tuned.
Nice work you your projects guys!
Working on designing a new batwing for the street which suits my taste.

Otherwise, I am not sure if you could replace them with higher wattage or brighter lights. The stock bulbs are halogen with special connectors. Maybe there are some LEDs that would work, but you would have to look into the current draw of the lights, so that you do not melt the wires. I know that is what would happen if we went to slightly higher wattage bulbs on our old Volvo 850.
