Jeff, that's beautiful! Speed Yellow/Black coupe with painted spoiler is the very best 968 color combination

Plus it's a 6-speed LSD car? Put some 17" Cup 1s on and it'll be perfect.

I think I might be starting to understand the multiple-968 disease...

Jeff,

1. would you install LSD in a special car such as this even if it did not come with that package from the factory? 2. would you fully "leatherize" any 968 the way you have Minty set up ?

Allan.
I'm pretty much a factory purist. This car already has LSD so I'm set there. I'm really happy with how it is set up and looks however, I will upgrade to 17" Cup2s at some point. Other then that, it will stay as is.

Raj's old car is in Tulsa OK now, owned by Brian Thomas from Rennsport who bought the car three years from Leonard and Melody Z, who bought it from Raj. Raj converted the car to factory M030 spec, it wasn't that way from the factory. A side note, my HB cab comes in second place to that car every year at the PCA-Palooza show! lol

There is/was also a '94 SY coupe in Atlanta, I talked with the guy in a parking lot two years ago. He said he didn't frequent RL or the other forum and had owned the car about 6 months. Seemed like a nice enough guy but he wasn't a 968 fanboy and was using it as a daily driver. It looked okay, not great.

[Edit} Had Brians location wrong, he's in OK not TX

SH,
Good stuff, thanks. Any idea which one is Raj's old car. Send me your email address. I have an interesting document for you.

Scott, are you sure. That car was factory M030. I remember it to be factory M030.
The car in AT could be 968.net webmasters old car.

Then I stand corrected on the origin of your SY car, you would certainly know. I evidently misunderstood a converstation I had at PCA-Palooza about it, but I could have sworn I was told that you converted it. Did you replace some parts on it, as I thought you and I had talked about you having a hard time tracking down some M030 parts for it at one point in time? Or maybe I am just getting old... lol

Jeff, I will send you a pm. Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know about how rare this SY "Clubsport" is?

Not that rare, 1,538 ROW 968 c/s were produced. They produced 2,234 968 coupes for North America in ALL 4 years of production!

Scott, I needed some of those parts for probably another car. That car was definitely M030. I did upgrade to Big Reds since the calipers looked tired and the cost of M030 calipers and rotors was muh more than Big Reds.
Another upgrade was sports seats. I still miss that car. It was my daughters favorite car .
