The turn signal bulb socket on the driver side is missing part of the bottom contact. Looks like at some point someone soldere a spring to the bottom of the bulb so that it still had contact but that isn't working anymore...

Looks like my order won't get here till monday - that is a bummer. I did get a better steering wheel and antenna today though - that was nice. Fixed the rear lock with a spare I had around yesterday.

Tracking number shows its on the fedex truck in town but still showing expected delivery on Monday. I'll keep my fingers crossed - really tired of not having a driver's door handle and I can't wait to get the ground effects attached correctly.

Josh, have you tried calling Sunset Porsche for parts? They advertise that their prices are dealer cost+15%. They are generally about 10% or more below the cost of Pelican Parts.

I checked Sonnet's prices against the quotes I received from Sunset for a few items and Sunset is cheaper by about 1%. I'll probably wind up using Sonnet because you can do your entire order online.

You can get a PDF version of the PET directly off of the Porsche website, which will help you identify parts and numbers. Here's the URL:

I really need to get active supporting this forum. I registered a business, Banger Industries, with the State of Kansas a few years ago and got signed up with distribution accounts for some of the major parts houses so that I could offset my own parts bills. I do not want to compete with Jason Burkett as I consider him a friend and I have a day job, but I am a Rennlist sponsor and if I can save y'all a few bucks, I don't mind doing so.

We don't have a high falutin web site , you have to get in touch with me if you want to use us, but Banger Industries can get you most parts that you will find via mail order. Pm me if you want more info.

Come on Josh really?! A new grill because of that? Some epoxy and super glue could have patched that old one up in no time

Right! You know for as many of these front grills as I see busted it really wasnt that expensive or involved of a repair and the results look so much better.
