There was a post a while back where someone had the Strosek one-piece side skirts installed... they looked pretty sweet, and FAR cleaner. If I was around enough to drive the thing, I would probably have picked up a set.

Tried a quick search of the forum with 'Strosek' and didn't find it- maybe someone with stronger google-fu can link it?

And on a side note, I don't know if I would classify a car that would cost between 70k and 75k today (adjusted for inflation) an entry level car... just sayin'

It's been driving me nuts I couldn't find that post... until I started thinking maybe I didn't see it here...

So I found it- what's the verdict from the masses?

I don't know if Fred Opert Racing is still the sole Strosek importer, but if you scroll down you'll see a speed yellow Strosek car.

Worth a call if someone is interested.

It's all just a matter of whether we can get the price low enough to be acceptable on our end...

For some reason, the Strosek site doesn't have prices listed for the kit components for the 968 any more, but I swear I remember them being somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 a set the last time I saw it listed???

Damian- were you just throwing the name out there because you are aware of them, or do you have a connection/history with Fred Opert that you can leverage if we get serious?

Side skirts 968 --- 1.039.6800.10.0002 --- 655,00 €

no surprise there. never gave the under $500 a parlay. $700 + sounds much more realistic.
